Wood wool insulation boards

Wood wool insulation boards are insulation materials consisting of long, slender wood wool fibers. These are pressed into boards using mineral binders such as cement or magnesite. Wood wool insulation boards are characterized by high compressive strength, good fire protection, good sound absorption, and moisture-regulating properties. They are manufactured in single or multiple layers, with or without additional coatings. In timber house construction, they are used for interior and exterior cladding of wall, roof, and ceiling components as insulation, acoustic, and plaster base boards. Wood wool insulation boards must comply with EN 13168 and be marked with a CE label.
