Fire compartmentation with structural timber components 2015

This article defines the requirements for walls along the property line as well as the fire compartmentation with building components according to OIB guideline 2 (Edition 2011). It contains details for structural timber components. Various research projects as well as experiences from the monitoring and reviewing activities are the basis for that. With the recommendations it is intended to support planners and contractors. All details have to be reviewed and adapted to the specific project, its prevailing circumstances and conditions.
