A cement-bonded reinforced lightweight concrete board is a cementitious building board, which due to the addition of different additives such as foamclay or granulated recycled foamed glass have a reduced density (approximately 1000 kg/m³). These panels are reinforced on both faces with a woven glass fibre fabric. It exhibits high strength and stiffness values and is inflammable (Euroclass A1). Due to its water repellent treatment, which eliminates water uptake, this panel is particularly suited for applications in domestic wet rooms (bathrooms). This type of panel can also be used in exterior applications as lining and as a plaster baseboard.
